Everything changes and yet everything stays the same. We evolve with experience, but some inner core keeps calling us back to where we began. The things that do change are often the material – houses, clothing, cars, cities, countries, the world. What does not change is who we are. We have our prisms, our worldviews and they expand and ebb, wax and wane. The spirit soars yet remains tethered to beliefs and emotions and moral cores that are remarkably hardcore.
Everything changes, the landscapes around us, the seasons, the people we associate with, the age of ourselves and those dear to us, but somehow it is all centered in a permanence.
Everything changes but somehow life is circular and things come back to their beginnings. The caterpillar changes to become a butterfly, but ultimately we are dust to dust. Everything changes, but one thing is constant – we will all die- so instead of worrying about that, we should embrace the changes because they are only part of our journey, not impediments on our path.
Everything changes and we learn to manage and confront and absorb those changes, because we continue to follow goals which often stay the same. There is no right or wrong goal- to be happy, to accomplish something, to build bridges, to create memories, to absorb life as much as we can and live it fully, to be.
Everything changes, the body, the mind, the friends, the children, the hopes and expectations, and yet the horizon stays the same.
The changes in our life are somehow meant to be. Life is like a river and we flow with it. Leaning to accept changes and work with them makes it easy to anticipate the twists and turns, the hairpin bends and precipices, the ebb and flow of life. Life changes and we learn to change too, but in reality, we do not change in cerebral ways-the core is strong.
Watching changing circumstances is a truly enlightening experience- how many shades of difference are there? We embrace change and somehow stay the same.
